The students have to read about a specific country and then they have to answer questions. You learn a lot about the morals and customs of other countries. After students have read about one A4 page about a country they have to give a little lecture, the teacher supports them a little. The talk they talk about three different countries: Japan, Thailand and Egypt. In these countries, politeness is very important.
We found that the students involved and interested is good for the country, manners and customs.
If we understand the manners and customs of other countries and understand, we can also understand why the Japanese have such a face mask when they have colds.
